Happy Trails

One of the things I like the most about the Fuji X100s is that it makes it easy to get long exposure images like this. You also get DSLR image quality in a tiny package. It's small enough to rest on a narrow barrier, set the ISO to 200, set the aperture to f/11, engage the 2 second timer and wait for the decisive moment. Of course, learning photography is about more than just getting familiar with your gear, it's about learning to see, and that's what working only with the 35mm fixed lens helps you to do. You already see the final image framed in your mind before you even put the camera to your eye.

If you're looking for a way to spark your creativity you really can't beat working with a single focal length for a while.
